Design for a renovation of the Ft. Hood Monroe Health Clinic. This LEED Silver project required the complete demolition and renovation of 28,000 square feet of interior elements and an addition of 2,500 square feet. The new program includes exam rooms, treatment rooms, social workers, pharmacy, staff locker rooms, screening rooms, blood draw, in-house laboratory, numerous waiting rooms, and radiology. As the current program had to remain in operation, extensive planning took place to temporarily house the mission within portable buildings that were brought on-site. The new design accommodates a more efficient staff and patient flow while adding the capability of an additional brigade combat team clinic pod.
The START Center is a four-story cancer research center. The building contains the Oncology and Radiation Specialties as well as the Administrative Services for the San Antonio Oncology and Hematology group.

This new 60,000 sq.ft, 3 story medical office building and ambulatory surgery center is located on a 4 acre site in Northern San Antonio. The 1st floor is an I-2 occupancy and is to include the ASC and an MRI imaging suiteand is designed for future hospital licensing. The 2nd floor will be leases as multi-tenant medical office building suites. The 3rd floor is the San Antonio Orthopaedic Group, which includes exam rooms, therapy area, cast room and administration areas (supply/storage, conference and billing).
The 40,000 square foot building was designed for a community healthcare center that includes a Family Practice Department, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, and Pediatric Clinics. Each clinic works independently with six exam rooms, a nurse station and administrative support. The center also has a Mental Health Department and a Dental Clinic with 10 chairs. A central Pharmacy supports the various clinics and Administrative Support Services.
The 2nd Floor Operating Room expansion and renovation included alterations and additions to major electrical and mechanical systems, while adjacent areas and Operating Rooms remained fully functioning. The scope of work included renovation and code up-grades to ten Operating Rooms, Recovery, ICU and Support Services, including Blood Gas Lab and Pharmacy, two Organ Transplant Operating Rooms and one Vascular Surgery Room.
The project consists of a State of the Art Renal Dialysis Building, a Main Clinic Building and a Central Plant Building. The Renal Dialysis Building (15,976 sq.ft.) is equipped to treat 28 dialysis patients at one time. The Main Clinic has 2 Diabetes Clinics, Acute Care Clinic, Orthodics Department, Opthamology Department, Orthopedics Department, Education and Training Department, Clinical Research Laboratory, Cafeteria, Auditorium and support departments. This project was a joint venture - Chesney Morales & Associates, Inc. & Marmon Mok.

The design team was challenged by University of Texas Office of Facilities Planning and Construction to develop a building design that blended with the campus architecture and complied with campus architectural standards at a reduced cost of construction over previous facilities. The project is an architectural site cast concrete facility housing multiple higher education departments.
Stafford Elementary School is a new 73,500 sf elementary school containing a gym, kitchen, cafetorium, library, music room, art room, science classrooms, computer technology classrooms, classrooms for kindergarten thru the fifth grade and offices. The exterior of the building is masonry and stucco. An exterior stage was placed adjacent to the cafetorium for outdoor events.
The Recreational Therapy & Enrichment Center includes a gymnasium with classrooms, music room, art room, girls and boys lockers, basketball court and stage, and a courtyard and meditation garden.
The project involved the renovation of existing areas of the Multidisciplinary Studies Building for the new Admissions Department, Orientation Department and the Visitor’s Center. This project was completed in three phases, one for each department. The scope of work included offices, conference rooms, break rooms, reception areas, and the new Visitor’s Center

A new location for Golden Wok Restraunt. Full design services were provided including kitchen and service layout and interior design.
The Butter Krust Bakery was built in 1941. The original facilityare will be renovated with a new three-story, 34,000 sq. ft. expansion, will be built at the South end and a new two-story, 33,000 sq. ft. Office Building will be constructed at the North end. Special attention was given to the design to compliment the original building features. The building is a LEED silver project.
This 110,000 sq. ft. Class A Office Building has a poured-in-place concrete structure with an attached four level concrete parking structure. Masonry veneer exterior, with interior finishes including travertine and mesquite floors with granite accent walls.
This 33,000 sq. ft., three story office building of architectural cast in place concrete construction is located on Paesanos Parkway and Loop 1604. The exterior includes a native limestone entry feature and wainscot, curtain-wall glazing and a third level exterior patio. Interior finishes include limestone, slate tile and granite throughout.
Zachry Construction Corporation established their Headquarters at the current campus in the 1940s, moving into a tractor assembly plant that had begun its life as a foundry 20 years before. Over the life of the campus seven different buildings, each with a different floor level, were eventually combined. This project unified the complex and created a state-of –the-art office facility while paying homage to the architectural lineage of the facility by uncovering and highlighting the components of the original buildings .
